In the German language there is a saying; “Sich einen Namen machen” which can be translated to “to make a name (for oneself)”. I took this as a starting point to eventually make something out of my surname “Tripolt” and yeah I found something. Why shouldn’t I highlight the first four letters – TRIP – and generate a whole corporate identity about taking a trip combined with design. I believe both things have a lot in common and are both things I love. But how could I combine both in an interesting and persuading way?

One-page websites are a perfect medium to tell a story. I worked out a concept, reduced it to a minimum, illustrated the sheets and lastly animated it. The result was a unique story about going on a trip, its similarities to design and why hiring a designer is a good idea. And the best idea is of course to hire me for your design project. 😉 In any case it’s good to stand out and a first step in making a name for myself.
